Biblical Doctrine of the Church
As
Lutheran theologians we know that all serious study of the Biblical doctrine of
the church brings us nearer to this goal. By studying the scriptures the
fathers of the Awakening became Lutherans. Only at the hand of Scripture can
our generation become Lutheran again. And so the great practical undertaking
will be to find and to study the church in scripture.
