Music
in the Church
When music
replaces the Gospel and the Sacraments as the perceived means of grace in a
Christian congregation, the Word of God is marginalized, the faith of the
hearers is put at risk (as they are drawn from sure foundation of the
proclamation of Christ to the sinking sand of human activity), the
understanding of ministry itself is confused, and division is assured.
